The 11th edition of the Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace (LIMA) exhibition 2011 was held from the 6th to the 10th of December on the tropical island of Langkawi, Malaysia. Jet Thrust Aviation Images was on the scene to capture the sights and sounds.

This Typhoon was part of a 4-aircraft detachment that had deployed to RMAF Butterworth for ExerNamed ‘Spirit of Go For Broke’, C-17A 05-5152 is operated by the 15th Airlift Wing, with the 154th Wing, Hawaii Air National Guard as an associate unit.RSAF Fokker 50 UTAs make a daily morning shuttle flight between Singapore and Langkawi throughout LIMA 2011, ferrying show visitors and personnel who are involved in the exhibition.In the markings of VFA-106 Gladiator, this United States Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet was brought in as a demonstrator for Boeing's proposal to the RMAF's MRCA program.One of 6 delivered in February 2011, this twin-seater JAS-39D Gripen of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) attracted much attention at the airshow.
