Stunning air-to-air photography from Cope North 2015

A USAF B-52 leads (from furthest) a USAF Kedena-based F-15C, a JASDF F-15J and F-2, as well as a RAAF F/A-18A.

Some terrific air-to-air imagery have been produced by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) media folks at the ongoing Exercise Cope North 2015. The air exercise is being hosted by the U.S. Air Force (USAF)'s Pacific Air Forces from the 15th to 27th February 2015 at Anderson Air Force Base, Guam and also involves the U.S. Navy (USN), Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), the RAAF, the Republic of Korea Air Force (RoKAF), the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF), and the Philippine Air Force (PAF). Large force employment air combat and humanitarian and disaster relief training are conducted at Cope North 2015.

RAAF KC-30A A39-003 refuels a RAAF F/A-18A "Classic Hornet" and a USN EA-18G Growler. Twelve of the latter are on order for the RAAF.

A USN EA-18G Growler from the VAQ-135 "Black Ravens" flies in formation with a RAAF 3SQN F/A-18A "Classic" Hornet as they return to Andersen Air Force Base.
