It's T-minus one month till “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” hits the theaters and fans are being whipped into a frenzy!
All Nippon Airways (ANA) joined in the craze in Singapore with its R2-D2 liveried 787-9 Dreamliner placed on show at Changi Airport. Chartered by JTB Japan, the aircraft is making a two-nights stopover and will host a fan event for lucky draw winners on 14 November.
Those onboard will get to enjoy a uniquely Star Wars cabin experience, including R2-D2 styled headrest covers and cutlery, flashing mood-lighting that mimic lightsaber clashes, as well as Star Wars-themed cabin announcements — one of which notably stands out, "For your safety, hyperdrive will not be engaged on this flight". All six of the current movies in the franchise are also available for viewing on the onboard entertainment system.
